Reservations required starting at 10 am on the day of the program at the Watch Hill Visitor Center. Glide along on a guided canoe tour of the Seashore’s most extensive salt marsh and explore one of the most productive ecosystems on Earth. Canoes, paddles, and life jackets provided. Participants must be able to swim and 16 years of age or older to paddle. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on the trip.

Enchanted Evening Sunken Forest to Cherry Grove @ Sailors Haven

Join a park ranger to explore barrier island nature and culture. Tour the centuries-old Sunken Forest and make your way from Sailors Haven to the seaside community of Cherry Grove. Take the 3:15 pm ferry to Sailors Haven and the 8 pm Cherry Grove ferry back to Sayville. Bring a snack, drinking water and insect protection. 2.5 miles.
