Live Music WH – Dennis and Ivan

Whalehouse Point Restaurant & Bar, Watch Hill, Fire Island, NY. Ivan and Dennis met in 1996 at Five Towns Music College. They created an original, improvisational rock band called 23Band. For 5 years they played live shows, then Ivan went on to create South Shore Movement and Dennis started Foxy Moon Baby. After five years of playing music apart, Dennis and Ivan got back together and started a band called Graphic Translation with singer and Jen Ress. After a few years of playing together, again, Dennis and Ivan went on their own ways and explored other styles of music. The two continued to write independently, their own brand of original material and had recorded and released separate albums under two different names. In October, 2013, Dennis and Ivan reunited and played together as an acoustic/electric duo at Bayshores The Cortland and Tullulah’s. Currently Dennis and Ivan are performing small and select venues on Long Island, playing a mix of covers and original material.
