Join a park ranger to explore barrier island nature and culture. Tour the centuries-old Sunken Forest and make your way from Sailors Haven to the seaside community of Cherry Grove. Take the 3:15 pm ferry to Sailors Haven and the 8 pm Cherry Grove ferry back to Sayville. Bring a snack, drinking water and insect protection. 2.5 miles.
