Live Music WH – Buoy 34

Whalehouse Point Restaurant & Bar, Watch Hill, Fire Island NY. Hailing mostly from the Sayville area, with a token from Islip Terrace, on the South Shore of Long Island, the band BUOY 34 = A FUN TIME OUT! It’s not the same ole versions of the same ole songs. Bill Moretti, Mike Hagstedt, Pete McNeill, Joe Cook, Mike Ballin, Cathleen and Mike Finch will entertain you with our “rootsy” acoustic sounds. We learned early on we could recreate those songs using our Banjos, Guitars, Violin/Fiddle, Tin Whistle, Cajon, Drums and Percussion, Harmonica, Flute and Brass, along with our vocals and blended harmonies…a different kind of musical experience, for certain. We’re quite well known for our uncanny ability to take apart and reassemble the songs we love while taking special care to pay homage and tribute to the original artists within our final compositions. This, we affectionately refer to as, “BUOY 34 Style” or “Buoytizing”.
So, if you’ve a thirst for some of your favorite and not so often heard Classic, Southern, Blues and what some have referred to as,“Tavern” Rock, as well as our versions of Traditional and Progressive Irish Pub and Celtic Rock songs, why not come give us a listen?
